Chinese London
In London, there is an estimation of nearly 300,000 Chinese people, of which a noticeable percentage being students. These students are usually temporary migrants, and have to head back to China before their one year and a half Tier 4 Student Visa expires. For some of them, the beginning of their life in the UK already has the end projected onto it. This project is to explore how people knowingly live their life in a temporary status, as well as people-space relationship under this premise. As part of the research, I asked my subjects to take me to their favorite places in London for a portrait.
