Yufan Lu is a photographer based in China. Her work is mainly focused on urbanism, especially people’s identities and their relationship with the space. Her interest also lies in the exploration of her inner world through visual practices.

Yufan is also interested in black-and-white darkroom. She believes that the old-school craft can lead her closer to the essence of photography – “light drawing”, as the term’s Greek origin discloses.

She has just completed the master program in Photography and Urban Cultures at Goldsmiths, University of London.
